Tea With Turner – Mystic Seaport Museum

Tuesday, Feb 11th, 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm

The Mystic Seaport will be offering several “Tea With Turner” lecture series. Discuss the great British artist J.M.W Turner while enjoying tea and snacks. Guest lecturers will provide in depth discussions of the master’s work on display at the museum.

Gungywamp Walk – Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center 

Saturday, February 22nd, 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm

Explore the archaeological site of Gungywamp this month with the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center. A tour guide will unpack information on the site’s terrain,  as well as the various interpretations of its ruins. This mysterious site is a fascinating part of the region’s history.

Charity Chowder Cook Off – Olde Mistick Village  

Saturday February 29th, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Warm up with some hearty New England chowder at the Olde Mistick Village! Restaurants from the local area will be serving their own signature chowders. Winners will be selected by locals and a team of celebrity judges. Proceeds will support Always Home, preventing family homelessness.

Ice Festival at Mystic Seaport Museum

February 15th – 17th

Don’t miss the annual Ice Festival at the Mystic Seaport Museum! Featuring everything from ice sculpture demos, sock skating for kids, paint n sips, and smores over a fire pit, this festival is bound to be a seasonal treat for all who attend. The festival will also feature a one of a kind live piano concert by Roman Zavada with aurora borealis projections inside the museum’s planetarium.
